I always thought my violin was very photogenic. As a photographer, I'm constantly seeing photo opportunities every where I look, and with my violin it was no different. Sadly, my Canon Power-Shot wasn't very cooperative in capturing the look that I wanted...it had trouble focusing properly so I wasn't very successful. One of very first things I did with my Rebel, therefore, was to try it out out on my violin. Ahhhh, achieving the effect that I wanted was suddenly so, so easy;-)
Here are a few of my favorite captures from the little "photo-shoot" that my violin and I had. There's something so beautifully simple about these - and I just love them. Which is your favorite?
Cool pictures! Your violin does seem very photogenic! :) I like 1, 2, and 3 best. =)
ReplyDeleteOh, they are all great but I just LOVE the first one! Great job, Hannah! ; )

Ooh, lovely pictures, Hannah!
ReplyDeleteWow, these are really cool! I love the last one especially - something about the warm tone of the wood with the cool background just makes it pop! :D
