i heart faces :: fix-it friday #67

It's Friday again, and I couldn't help but fix up this adorable gal I Heart Faces is featuring today!

All edits done on with Picnik Premium.
I bumped up the exposure and contrast, and raised the temperature a *lot*.  I then cropped, sharpened, brightened her eyes, and messed around with curves a bit.  The final product...
I'm really loving how this turned out!
And, of course, my customary black and white edit...
More lovely fixes at I Heart Faces...

What do you think?

  1. I love both of your edits! Wonderful job.:)

  2. cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute! (: love it!

  3. I love your edits! They are so crisp and easy on the eyes :) Great job!

  4. I'm loving your edits, Hannah! Especially the first one! It looks so sparkling!
A question- in your B&W edit, how'd you make her tutu a faded pink but the rest completely uncolored?

  5. Thank you, lovelies!

Actually, all I did was fade the black and white around %5. Since the tutu was the only really bright thing in the photo, it seems to be the only thing you can tell has color to it. It rather surprised me, too:-)

  6. Very nicely done especially for picknik.
Thank you for also visiting my website

  7. Very good edit ~ Picnik is great isn't it :) I love the way you managed to leave a touch of pink in her skirt.
Another way to do that (so you know for another time) is to use a very light eraser over the B&W in the areas where you want to pick out colour. :)

    Great work.

  8. Caroline,
Yes, I've done that before, too! Thanks:)

  9. I love your edits Hannah! Thanks so much for adding me to your blogroll - I really appreciate it a lot! Keep up the great blogging!

  10. Oh, I tried editing her (that sounds weird) and I found it worked! Thanks, Hannah!
